Family Pool & Spa was founded in 2015 by brothers Mike and Randal Amschel with one simple goal: build a pool and spa company where honesty, expertise, and lasting relationships matter more than making the next sale.

What began as two brothers doing every job themselves has grown into one of the Treasure Valley's most trusted destinations for hot tubs, swim spas, pools, water care, and backyard living. While our business has grown, our commitment to treating customers like family has never changed.

Our Story

When we first opened our doors, Mike and Randal handled every part of the business - from answering the phones and balancing the books to testing water, recommending chemicals, selling hot tubs, performing service calls, cleaning pools, opening and closing pools, and delivering spas.

That hands-on approach built more than a business - it built trust. As satisfied customers shared their experiences with family and friends, referrals became the foundation of our growth.

Today, Family Pool & Spa employs 15 to 20 dedicated team members, depending on the season, but we're still committed to providing the same personal service that helped us earn our reputation.

Still Owner-Operated

Mike and Randal remain involved in the business every day. Randal oversees our service department, helping ensure repairs, maintenance, installations, and technician training meet the high standards our customers expect.

Mike is still a familiar face in the showroom and can often be found behind the counter helping customers interpret water tests, solve water chemistry challenges, answer technical questions, and find the perfect hot tub or swim spa.

Being involved in the day-to-day operation allows both brothers to stay connected to customers, support their team, and make sure the values that built Family Pool & Spa continue to guide every decision.
